Kilgoodh Ust

A series of collages made in response to the landscape of Cape Cornwall. Cape Cornwall was known in Cornish as Kilgoodh Ust, “goose-back at St Just”, a reference to the shape of the cape.

I spent the second half of August of 2023 staying on Cape Cornwall, travelling there by train(Penzance), then bus (St Just), then foot. I kept my luggage to a minimum and took with me paper I had pre-painted, in a range of colours, glue, and scissors. The ensuing A4 collages were all made in response to my daily walks exploring the area from Cape Cornwall to Sennen, Levant and Carn Kenidjack.
